Festivals
St+art Mumbai Urban Art Festival (2017)
At St+art Mumbai, I headed all the event programming and coordination at the Sassoon Dock Art Project. From liaising with artists and a variety of stakeholders, I was in charge of managing all the activities at the project.
CalArts New Works Festival (2015-2017)
The New Works Festival is an entirely student- produced festival put up by the School of Theater, of student directed, written or conceptualied projects. I was a committee member of the festival between 2015 and 2017. My role included a variety of marketing, communications, venue management and budget maintenance.
Bayou Blues at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2015)
Bayou Blues was a one-woman show I produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. I worked on scheduling rehearsals, managing the creative team, the budget, creating press material and marketing the show at the Fringe.
Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (2012-2013)
I worked with the curators of the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival to program the Film Schedule. This included research and planning for the schedule, managing the screenings, as well as being the festival interface, for fillm-makers.
Projects
Over the course of a year, I created 2 Townhall sessions in two disciplines that the Foundation operated in. These led to actionable guides for the future. I was also instrumental in creating a grant database and fundraising plan.
This from Cloudland | Dir: Chi-wang Yang (2016)
At CalArts, I produced This from Cloudland by Kristin Kosmas. The show required me to supervise a team of designers and managers, devise seating systems for the run and create the show's identity, viz. the synopsis and poster.
We Can Only Grow Closer | Dir: Brian Carbine (2014)
As the producer, of this CalArts show, I managed a team of designers and managers. The show faced many challenges as it was standing room only show and a devised piece with minimal text.
Vikhroli Skin was a one-day only art pop-up in Vikhroli, Mumbai. I liaised with upto 100 artists while managing space assignments, the schedule for the day and handling event related issues.
I initiated the Indie-pendence Day, a collaboration with NFDC, Mumbai at the Godrej India Culture Lab. It was a day of film screenings which I executed entirely.
